We're stretching out the bookshop tables for another long table winemaker event. This time join next generation winemaker Rowly Milhinch from Scion in Rutherglen - one of Victoria's premier food and wine regions.
Rowly is a great-great-great grandson of George Francis Morris, the founding father of Morris Wines (est. 1859), and uses this family pedigree to juxtapose tradition in a contemporary way. His winemaking style has evolved through inspiration from France and food in a winemaking process completed by hand to ensure place and seasonality are reflected. Rowly's wine style seeks to highlight elegance and structure – but in the most unexpected ways.
To whet the appetite we'll begin with a 2017 Rosé on arrival. Made using early-season, hand-harvested durif it's a dry, savoury rosé that'll perfectly ease you into the main event. Other featured wines include* :
2015 "After Dark" fortified Durif

Complemented with a menu created by Head Chef Steven Sweeney, we invite you to sit back and indulge in a lazy afternoon lunch with this gregarious, multi-award winning winemaker!
