We're very pleased to present winemaking team Charlie Svenson and son Ben from De Salis Wines for this exclusive Long Table bookshop dinner.
Enjoy canapes and sparkling wine on arrival, followed by a four course dinner created by Head Chef Steven Sweeney, that showcases a selection of the extraordinary, minimal intervention cool climate wines from this much lauded winery.
Over dinner we'll discover how no enzyme or tannin addition, minimal sulphides and gentle practice make elegant wines with texture and finesse.
The handcrafted De Salis range focuses on the classic French varietals of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Meunier.
We'll begin the evening at 6:30pm with a 2012 "Lofty" Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier Cuvée (which can be found on by the glass at Neil Perry's iconic Rockpool restaurant), and sit down for dinner at 7pm, where we'll taste and experience a journey from Manly, Sydney to the 1050m Mt Canobolas vineyard in Orange, NSW.
