It's that time of the month again! We're very pleased to continue our Basically Beethoven classical music open mic series – Canberra's only classical and jazz open mic event!
Musicians one and all come and join us! Bring your fiddle or flugelhorn, choir and castanets, or sit down and play a tune on our gorgeous 1927 Schweighofer baby grand piano that used to belong to Australian composer Calvin Bowman, for an afternoon of acoustic music.
It's very (very) informal and we would encourage anyone to get up and have a go! No-one is here to judge but rather to congratulate you for having the courage to perform in public. Above all else it's just a bit of fun. So in the words of Cole Porter – anything goes!
