An Evening with Rupert Boyd

“Beautifully refined, with gorgeous tone…musically and technically flawless”

The Canberra International Music Festival presents
An Evening with Rupert Boyd (guitar)

The Canberra International Music Festival and Muse host New York based Australian classical guitarist Rupert Boyd for an intimate concert and dining experience as part of the 2016 festival.

Described as “truly evocative” Boyd, a graduate of the ANU School of Music, returns to his old stomping grounds of Canberra to participate in Canberra’s premier music event, and to promote his new CD 'Fantasías'.

Join us in the restaurant for a two course late supper with live music performed by one of the most acclaimed musicians of his generation.

Tickets: $65 (includes a glass of wine & coffee or tea)
Space is strictly limited

Rupert Boyd

“Remember the name Rupert Boyd. While there may never be another classical guitarist like Segovia, this young Australian left his Marlow Guitar Series audience with the impression that someday there may not be the likes of him again, either.” The Washington Post

Multi award winning artist Rupert Boyd has performed across the globe including appearances in the United States, France, Spain, China, the Philippines and all throughout Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Music (First Class Honours) from the Australian National University School of Music, an Artist Diploma from the Yale University School of Music, and a Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music where he also received the Andrés Segovia award.
